As a data architect on our team, you'll use your extensive technical expertise to lead the design of data architecture solutions for cloud computing, managed services, and service-oriented architectures. You'll resolve routine data architecture-related issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams, working with project staff to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture development, and analyzing data architecture-related business needs.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect
  • Experience leading security architect, engineering or enterprise data protection initiatives
  • Experience with data security platforms including Virtru, PKWare, Thales, and encryption and key management technologies
  • Experience architecting and implementing Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) solutions including Varonis or BigID
  • Experience conducting architecture reviews, threat modeling, risk assessments, and security control evaluations
  • Knowledge of data-centric security architectures such as data classification, encryption, tokenization, key management, and data lifecycle protection
  • Secret clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience architecting Zero Trus and enterprise data protection strategies aligned with federal cybersecurity initiatives
  • Experience integrating data security platforms with IAM, SIEM, SOAR, DLP, CASB, and cloud security solutions
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines
  • Experience mentoring engineering teams and providing technical leadership across multiple programs and stakeholders

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
