JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Director of Clinical Compliance Audits, the Director ofClinical Compliance Audit - Qualityis responsible fordirectingthe Quality auditing program, as well as conducting routine audits orinvestigationsof regulatory quality of care practices related to skilled nursing facilities.Thisrole ensures adherence to federal, state, and local regulationsandsupports quality improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Develop audit toolsto assess facility QAPI programs andquality of care outcomestoidentifytrends, root causes, and systemic compliance risks associated with resident outcomes.

  • Conduct focused audits in response to complaintinvestigations and survey deficiencies.

  • Conduct root cause analyses and develop performance improvement projects to reduce regulatory risk for facilities

  • Supportquality ofcareinvestigations.

  • Partner with Risk Management and Clinical Operations toanalyze adverse events and sentinel events forcomplianceand quality concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Associate or Bachelor'sdegreerequired,Master'sdegree preferred.

  • Active RNorother associated healthcarelicense.

  • QAPI Certified Professional (QCP)orCertified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)required. Certificate in Healthcare Compliance preferred.

  • 10+yearsexperienceinclinical practiceandprogressiveregionalleadershipina dedicatedQualityof Careposition.

  • Extensive experience conducting clinical record reviews and regulatory investigations.

  • Deep knowledge ofthe conditions or participation for skilled nursing facilities,QAPI, CMS Critical Elements Pathways,CASPER Reports,CMS 5-starQualityrating system.

  • Experience leading root-cause analysis (RCA).
