• Deliver direct individual and group therapy sessions to patients, utilizing video conferencing and other digital tools to engage clients effectively.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions in compliance with agency and licensing standards.
• Engage in on-unit programming and participate in training and development initiatives that support staff and enhance service delivery.
• Communicate regularly with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to patient treatment plans and consulting on best practices for recovery and discharge planning.
• Attend regular team meetings and case conferences to foster collaboration and promote strategies that lead to successful patient outcomes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, ensuring responsiveness to evolving patient needs and organizational priorities.

This position primarily serves adult patients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. The counselor will work closely with a diverse clientele, tailoring therapeutic approaches to address unique needs and backgrounds. A commitment to cultural competency and a strong ability to establish rapport with clients from varied demographics are essential to success in this role.

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure in the State of Washington as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is a must.

• A minimum of three years of direct counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
• A proven track record of achieving positive treatment outcomes with mood disorders.
