This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide remote mental health services while working in a thriving outpatient facility. Work Environment

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will enjoy a flexible work environment with a primary focus on remote services. While most efforts can be conducted from your home office, you will also have the facility at our outpatient clinic in Modesto available for patient consultations when necessary. The typical workweek is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate the demands of our patients and their schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the specific needs of patients and to create tailored treatment plans that address these needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to deliver effective care to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Facilitate educational and support groups that encourage community and shared understanding among patients dealing with similar mental health challenges.
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals within our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Educate patients about their mental health conditions, discuss treatment approaches, and connect them with community resources that can further aid their recovery.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential documentation in compliance with state regulations and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.
  • Strong knowledge of mental health disorders along with competency in recognized therapeutic approaches and evidence-based practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and effectively develop treatment plans.
