Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with clients’ goals and therapeutic needs.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities suited to diverse client backgrounds.
• Engage in collaborative discussions with interdisciplinary teams—including psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers—to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records, rigorously following legal, ethical, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate regularly in clinical supervision, case reviews, and professional development workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Holistic Harmony Associates, you will serve a diverse clientele ranging from young adults to seniors, each with unique experiences and challenges. You will assist individuals dealing with a variety of mental health issues including trauma, addiction, and mood disorders, ensuring that your interventions are culturally sensitive and tailored to the personal circumstances of each client.

Qualifications

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in the state of Florida.
• A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy within mental health care settings.
• Strong proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish a trusting rapport with clients from varied backgrounds and circumstances.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, crucial for documentation, client interaction, and teamwork.
• A commitment to ethical practice and protecting client confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with addiction and trauma healing.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies.
