Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and intake interviews with students to understand their mental health concerns, strengths, and potential barriers to learning
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each student’s unique needs, goals, and preferred therapeutic approaches
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to address mental health issues among students
  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions, ensuring a safe space for students to express their emotional experiences and develop coping strategies
  • Conduct crisis interventions, risk assessments, and develop safety plans tailored for students experiencing acute distress or emergencies
  • Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and support staff to create a coordinated care system that enhances student success
  • Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions in accordance with ethical, professional, and legal standards, utilizing practice management technology to streamline processes
