• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to accurately determine the mental health needs of clients, ensuring the development of effective treatment strategies.
• Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual goals, fostering a direct and supportive therapeutic relationship.
• Provide individual, couples, and group counseling sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to enhance client engagement and outcomes.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at New Beginnings Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals coping with addiction, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and other emotional challenges. • A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Skillful application of evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to various mental health issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that enable the establishment of rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly document client progress and collaborate with team members.

• Experience working in a community health setting with a focus on underserved populations.
• Advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology for providing remote counseling services.
