Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments of patients to identify mental health needs and treatment goals.
• Create and implement effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Deliver therapy sessions via our telehealth platforms, ensuring engagement through video conferencing.
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate closely with other health care professionals to ensure comprehensive care coordination.
• Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings to continually improve therapeutic practices.
• Take an active role in promoting mental health awareness and educating patients about their treatment options.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role specifically involves working with diverse populations, including teens, adults, and couples who are navigating the challenges of detoxification and mental health recovery. By addressing their emotional, psychological, and behavioral needs, you will empower patients to develop coping strategies and foster resilience during their recovery process. Your expertise in psychotherapy will be crucial in helping them navigate the complexities associated with addiction and mental health issues.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license as a mental health clinician (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably in a remote or telehealth environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, or Social Work; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
• Ability to foster trusting relationships with patients through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in treatment planning and implementation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively, especially in a virtual setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with psychotherapy for a variety of client demographics, particularly in dealing with substance use disorders.
• Previous involvement in providing virtual therapy and familiarity with telehealth best practices.
• A track record of maintaining high patient satisfaction and successful treatment outcomes.
