Job description

Join a dynamic enterprise engineering team focused on modernizing and supporting a large portfolio of production applications in a complex, collaborative environment. This full stack role offers the opportunity to work across backend and frontend systems, improve application security and reliability, and contribute to meaningful modernization efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Build, enhance, and maintain full stack applications across backend services and frontend interfaces
  • Develop and support Java or Kotlin microservices using Spring Boot and related Spring components
  • Work on React and TypeScript-based user interfaces, including reusable components and routing
  • Contribute to service integrations in an event-driven, microservice-based architecture
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and improve existing code written by others in a large enterprise codebase
  • Help remediate security issues, dependency vulnerabilities, and code quality concerns
  • Participate in refactoring and modernization efforts that improve maintainability and performance
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, platform, and architecture partners to deliver production-ready solutions
  • Write clean, well-tested code and support ongoing improvements to development practices
  • Contribute within a CI/CD and containerized environment supporting modern delivery workflows
Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and/or Kotlin
  • Production experience with Spring Boot
  • Solid understanding of Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, dependency injection, validation, and REST APIs
