Experience: Generally, a minimum of 13 years of related underwriting or product experience. Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred, including Associate in Underwriting (AU), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Program in General Insurance (INS), Associate of Risk Management (ARM), Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) or other applicable designations.
Scope of Job/Qualifications: Advanced technical knowledge of insurance products and lines of business. Demonstrates expert knowledge and understanding of industry laws and regulations. Expert-level proficiency in interpreting competitive data and industry trends. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions. - Leads comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.

- Leads the development and delivery of training programs regarding new products and product changes to internal teams and external agents.
- Stays updated on industry trends, regulatory updates, and market shifts to ensure the product strategy remains forward-thinking and competitive.
- May have responsibility for performance and coaching of staff and may have a participatory role in decisions regarding talent selection, development, and performance management for direct reports.
