Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Case Management Liaison is responsible for assisting with the management of internal and external relationships and department escalations under the support of the Senior Case Management Liaison. The role requires the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and the ability to apply complex problem solving to address issues.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assists with the resolutions department escalation by collaborating with various internal departments and vendors.
  • Assists with the management of vendor relationships and associated process improvements.
  • Acts as a spokesperson for the department under the guidance of the Senior Liaison.
  • Effectively communicates and collaborates with external business partners and internal teams.
  • Documents complex systems and processes.
  • Provides guidance on documentation of all process, procedure, and workflows and enhancements.
  • Perform training to internal staff and external clients and vendors as needed.
  • Back-up for Senior Case Management Liaison.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience, preferred.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 1-3 years related experience in healthcare/health insurance required.
  • Prior Account Management / Client Management experience a plus
  • Comfortable with advanced medical terminology.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Intermediate level work experience with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel Access and Power Point software applications.
