Job description

We have a full-time position open for a Rough Terrain Forklift Operator. You must be willing to travel to/from jobsites located in Charlottesville and the Shenandoah Valley.


Qualifications:


  • Must have Rough Terrain Forklift Operator Experience (this is not a warehouse forklift)
  • Must possess a current (unexpired) Rough Terrain Forklift Operator's Certification, or be able to successfully complete certification prior to operating equipment (conditions apply).
  • Must be able to climb on/off the forklift numerous times during the shift, visually monitor the modules for needed repair.
  • Must be able operate forklift on rough terrain safely, outside in noisy, wet surfaces, with various hazards and other moving equipment and personnel.
  • Must professionally communicate with co-workers and ensure each other's safety.


Duties: 


  • Safely operate rough terrain type forklift depending on the requirements of the job site.
  • Operate the equipment per its operating manual and within its limitations.
  • Adhere to company safety policies.
  • Heavy lifting, endurance, hand-eye coordination and the ability concentrate on tasks.
  • Monitor gauges and record information as needed
  • Know the type of product, the source, and all the handling procedures involved in each processing procedure.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the job site.
  • Maintain general housekeeping of production areas
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships and communications with employees from all other departments and peers.

After 60 days, full-time employees are eligible for Health Insurance (M3, Inc. pays 60% of the medical premium). Dental and Vision benefits are also available at very affordable rates.

Paid Holidays:


After 90 days, full-time employees receive 6 paid Holidays: Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; and New Year's Day.

After one year of employment, we offer 40 hours of flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) to full-time employees.
