Position Overview

The Prime Psychiatry Counseling Center is on the lookout for a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our compassionate team. This full-time remote position offers the opportunity to provide telehealth services to a diverse patient population. As a key member of our mental health team, you will conduct assessments, offer therapeutic interventions, and play a significant role in enhancing the emotional well-being of our clients.

Work Environment

Operating primarily in a telehealth setting, our practitioners enjoy the flexibility of remote work while maintaining the ability to connect personally with clients. Our work schedule typically runs Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insight into clients' individual experiences and formulate tailored treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote mental wellness.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, guiding clients through their mental health challenges towards building resilience.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care strategies for patients.
  • Respond to mental health emergencies by providing crisis intervention and support, ensuring client safety and stability.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and resources in the community.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records of patient progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance team collaboration and service delivery.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health research, therapeutic techniques, and cultural considerations relevant to our practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
