We're Hiring

RC Mowers Product Specialist

Full-Time | Houston or Dallas-Fort Worth, TX

RC Mowers is looking for a dedicated Product Specialist to own a product line across the Texas marketplace.

RC Mowers builds autonomous and remote-operated commercial mowing machines purpose-built for steep slopes, rough terrain, and job sites where conventional equipment can't operate. This is a high-visibility product with a growing customer base and real demand. Your job is to put it in front of the right people and show them what it can do.

THE JOB

The role exists because RC Mowers is a specialized product that deserves a dedicated specialist someone who knows the product inside and out, can run a persuasive demo, and can develop the market on their own.

This is a field role. You'll be in front of municipalities, DOTs, contractors, and commercial operators prospecting, demonstrating, and building relationships. Most of your time is out of the office, not in it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Prospect and develop leads in municipal and non-municipal markets across your territory
  • Travel to customer sites to demonstrate RC Mowers and show what they can do in real conditions
  • Be the go-to product expert for the dealers sales team
  • Assist sales reps with quoting and configuring RC Mowers for specific customer applications
  • Attend trade shows and industry events as a representative of the dealer and RC Mowers
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and share intelligence with the sales team
  • Partner with successful customers to build case studies for marketing
  • Manage inventory of stock, demo, and rental units

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Experience in industrial equipment, municipal markets, or a closely related industry
  • Mechanically inclined comfortable around equipment and able to learn how it operates
  • Proven ability to prospect, build a pipeline, and move opportunities forward
  • Strong presentation and communication skills you can put a machine in front of a customer and close the room
  • Organized and self-directed: you manage your own schedule, your territory, and your results
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable with significant travel across the territory, including frequent overnight stays

WHO FITS HERE

You're a self-starter. You don't need someone to map out your day you know what needs to happen and you go do it.

You like being in front of customers more than sitting behind a desk. You're comfortable showing up to a job site, getting in the dirt, and running a demo.

You're competitive and results-driven, but you work well with a team. You understand that helping your fellow reps succeed is part of your job.

You can get up to speed on a complex product and become the expert in the room for your customers and for your colleagues.
