Hope Balance Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist with credentials as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT to join our dynamic team. This remote position allows you the flexibility to provide high-quality mental health services to a diverse population, all while working from the comfort of your home. This position is fully remote, allowing for an adaptable work schedule. Our typical operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate clients' needs. • Conduct in-depth, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each individual's unique circumstances, experiences, and needs, paving the way for personalized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the diverse cultural and personal backgrounds of your clients, ensuring that your approach aligns with best practices in mental health care.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address a myriad of mental health concerns, focusing on promoting resilience and enhancing well-being.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and psychologists to provide comprehensive care that is coordinated and effective, enhancing client outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, utilizing your training and experience to stabilize situations and support individuals in distress.
• Educate clients and their families regarding mental health disorders, available treatment options, and community resources that can assist in their healing journey.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training sessions to continuously improve service delivery.
• Stay informed on the latest research and developments in mental health therapy, particularly those relevant to culturally responsive practices.

Your role will involve working with a richly diverse patient population, including those from ethnic and cultural minority groups, LGBTQ+ individuals, and immigrant communities. Each client brings a unique story, and you will have the opportunity to help them navigate their mental health challenges in a culturally competent manner, making a significant impact on their lives.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methods, particularly as they relate to diverse populations.
• Experience in providing individual and group therapy, utilizing culturally responsive techniques.
• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure during challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to establish rapport with a diverse client base.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications.
• A commitment to respecting professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and maintaining client confidentiality.
• A collaborative mindset, willing to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver top-notch care.

• Previous experience working with culturally diverse populations in a therapeutic setting.
• Familiarity with community resources available to support the mental health needs of minority populations.
