Work is done in an office, title plant or remotely traveling to court houses, municipalities and other government entities to perform the searches. Assignments are varied and complex and require breadth and depth of experience. May act as a subject matter expert; can perform all the work that the unit supports; can search multiple file/product types. Acts as a resource to less experienced team members. Has broad geographic knowledge of state practices and requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Performs a wide range of title research requiring considerable judgment, independent analysis and detailed knowledge. Documents all research

  • Conducts title research to compile search packages covering a wide range of complexity.

  • Investigates and interprets tax records in order to determine tax liability.

  • Work is similar to that performed by intermediate level, but handles more complex, less routine or escalated transactions, based on level of experience and competency.

  • No formal supervisory responsibility but may be a resource to less experienced team members
