As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing clinical services to clients, including the development and implementation of personalized, recovery-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Conducting ongoing assessments of clients’ treatment needs and progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to maximize outcomes.
• Collaborating with clients to enhance their coping, problem-solving, and communication skills through evidence-based techniques and skills training.
• Assisting in the creation, monitoring, and execution of comprehensive individual service plans that address specific client goals and needs.
• Educating clients about available community resources and serving as an advocate to facilitate connections to these services.

Your primary focus will be on adults aged 18 and older, many of whom are experiencing significant challenges related to mental health conditions. The demographic includes individuals from diverse backgrounds who may struggle with maintaining stability in their daily lives. Understanding the unique cultural, social, and economic factors impacting these clients will be essential for achieving meaningful engagement and positive outcomes.

To be a successful candidate, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, valid state license as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).
• Ability to practice independently without supervision, ensuring clients receive the support and guidance they need.
• No active disciplinary actions on your professional license.
• Proficient computer literacy, with a reliable Wi-Fi connection for remote work.
