Job description

Cullerton Group has a new opportunity for an Account Manager – Manufacturing Software supporting a global leader in Smart Factory and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions.

This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive base salary, uncapped commission, and excellent long-term career growth. This is also open for remote work.


Local Candidates

Candidates located in the Greater Chicago Area are strongly preferred.

  • Onsite during the first 3 months of training
  • Hybrid schedule afterward (2 days onsite / 3 days remote)


MES experience is preferred but not required for qualified local candidates with strong manufacturing software or industrial software sales backgrounds.


Remote Candidates (Non-local candidates)

This requirement is non-negotiable.

To be considered for a fully remote position, candidates must have:

  • Extensive Manufacturing Execution System (MES) sales experience
  • Proven success selling MES solutions into manufacturing environments
  • Ability to contribute with little or no training



Compensation

Local Candidates (Greater Chicago Area)

  • $90,000–$100,000 base salary

Remote Candidates (Out-of-State)

  • $115,000 base salary

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated, quota-carrying software sales professional who enjoys building relationships and helping manufacturers improve operations through innovative Smart Factory technologies.


You'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting through contract negotiation—while selling Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), manufacturing software, and industrial software solutions to manufacturers across North America.


Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new manufacturing customers
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Manage a healthy sales pipeline from prospecting through close
  • Present and demonstrate manufacturing software solutions
  • Develop proposals based on customer requirements
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts
  • Collaborate with technical and implementation teams
  • Maintain CRM forecasts and pipeline activity
  • Support trade shows, webinars, and customer events


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of enterprise software sales experience
  • Experience selling one or more of the following:
