POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Servicing Operations – Transfers and Assumptions within the EnFin Servicing Department to establish and manage operational processes, build reporting and quality metrics, and drive continuous process improvement for the Transfers & Assumptions function. The ideal candidate has experience in residential solar and a working knowledge of contract transfers and assumptions, and will partner closely with Servicing Vendors, Operations, Risk, and Compliance to ensure processes and objectives align with business needs. 

This position will be based out of our Irvine, CA, San Francisco, CA, Santa Clara, CA or Teaneck, NJ offices with an in-office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures. Remote may be considered in exceptional cases.  

RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Define, build, and implement standards, processes, and best practices for Servicing functions related to contract transfers, assumptions, modifications, and buyouts. 

  • Establish key performance metrics to monitor and improve process performance and assess quality trends over time. 

  • Lead QA efforts for the Transfers & Assumptions function, fostering a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement. 

  • Build AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual processing time. 

  • Investigate performance gaps, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective action plans. 

  • Develop and manage lien filing and termination quality scorecards for Servicing partners. 

  • Participate in new product rollouts, ensuring Transfers & Assumptions processes are ready to support them. 

  • Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service; investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or equivalent experience, with 8+ years of professional experience, including 6+ years of loan servicing with exposure to major servicing functions and 4+ years of managing or supervising customer service or servicing teams, including third-party/subservice relationships. 

  • Proven experience building and scaling transfer and assumption servicing operations in partnership with technology teams. 

  • High technical aptitude, with the ability to understand systems, workflows, and reporting. 

  • Strong decision-making ability, ownership mindset, and comfort operating in ambiguity. 

  • Working knowledge of consumer lending regulations, including FDCPA, Fair Debt Collection laws, UDAP, and FCRA. 

  • Proficiency in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans. 

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Solar or broader renewable energy industry experience. 

  • Familiarity with origination and servicing software and systems. 

  • Understanding solar lending products. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

COMPENSATION: 

In accordance with applicable pay transparency laws, the anticipated annual base salary for this position is: 

  • Zone 1 (Bay Area, NYC): $164,400 – $184,900 

  • Zone 2 (CA, NJ, NY): $150,700 – $169,500 

  • Zone 3 (All Others): $137,000 – $154,100 

The applicable salary range is based on the employee’s primary work location. Individual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and other business-related factors.
