Location: Remote - Thousand Oaks, CA (PST or EST preferred)

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $45/$49 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

The Supply Chain Project Manager will lead and execute product lifecycle management initiatives in a fully remote capacity for a large biotech pharmaceutical leader. This role develops and implements strategies for product variation and launches, oversees change control processes, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver compliant, timely outcomes. The SCPM will drive operational excellence, streamline processes, and ensure consistent project execution within dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage change control timelines and drive task completion across multiple functions
  • Maintain compliant documentation within Change Control Management systems for global distribution and customer-facing SKUs
  • Provide timely updates to Regulatory, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality stakeholders
  • Represent the SCPM Hub in project planning, variation execution, and regional operations meetings
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Identify, analyze, and solve complex problems to improve departmental activities
  • Create and implement new procedures and processes to drive business goals
  • Share and implement best practices with stakeholders
  • Operate independently and proactively in dynamic, rapidly changing environments
  • Execute assigned projects and support business case development
Required Experience & Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, lifecycle management, or related roles within the biotech/pharma industry
  • Hands-on experience with change control systems, including Trackwise or other quality systems
  • Strong knowledge of GMPs and the pharmaceutical/biotech regulatory environment
  • Background in supply chain and/or quality, especially within lifecycle management
  • Demonstrated project management and operational excellence skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent, clear communication skills
  • Adaptability to support projects across PST and EST time zones
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASCM/APICS certification

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Rapidly train on and access key systems. Work independently within SOPs, engaging in strategic meetings to acquire product and process knowledge. Translate requirements into compliant Change Control records (CFSCR and GDCR). Partner with Assessors and Task Owners to ensure timely completion of supporting activities for successful product launches or variations.
