A Remote Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating business operations from a remote location rather than a traditional office setting. This role typically involves managing teams, workflows, and processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with company goals, all while leveraging digital tools and communication platforms. Remote Operations Managers must be skilled in virtual leadership, project management, and problem-solving to effectively support distributed teams. Their duties often include monitoring key performance indicators, implementing process improvements, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations despite geographical distances.

What does a remote operations manager do?

The job duties of a remote operations manager involve managing a production process or the provision of a service. As a remote operations manager, you work from home to monitor business operations, plan a budget, and come up with strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and profits. Some of your job responsibilities vary depending on the industry in which you work. In fields such as production, you oversee quality assurance (QA) operations. In all positions, you coordinate with employees and departments and run meetings virtually. Some jobs require you to visit work or production sites occasionally.

To succeed as a Remote Operations Manager, you need strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills, usually supported by a relevant degree and operations experience. These competencies are critical for ensuring operational efficiency, team alignment, and successful delivery of business objectives in a remote environment.

Job description

The opportunity

The Senior GTM Operations Manager will serve as a dual-mandate hire within GTM Operations โ€” building and deploying agentic AI systems for other marketing functions (e.g., Campaign/CMM, Integrated Marketing, Social) while also owning hands-on Marketing Operations and Lead Operations execution. This role requires genuine, shipped experience building agents (using Claude Code, Cowork, or comparable tooling) combined with real hands-on depth in a major marketing automation platform and Salesforce โ€” not one skill set standing in for the other.

What you\'ll be doing

  • Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automations for other marketing functions (CMM, Integrated Marketing, Social, and others), using Claude Code, Cowork, or similar agent-building tools.

  • Partner directly with stakeholders in those functions to scope problems, prototype quickly, and ship working agents end to end.

  • Execute hands-on marketing operations and lead lifecycle work: lead routing and scoring, campaign operations, data hygiene, and reporting.

  • Administer and optimize relevant tools in the GTM stack, which may include Eloqua, LeanData, Qualified, MadKudu, Zoominfo, SFDC and others.

  • Maintain deep working knowledge of our marketing automation platform (e.g., Eloqua) and Salesforce as they relate to lead and campaign objects.

  • Document processes and playbooks for both the agentic systems and standard MOPS/LOPS workflows so they\'re maintainable by others.

  • Partner with IT and Sales Operations on any Salesforce-level changes required to support marketing operations or agent workflows.

What we\'re looking for

  • 4โ€“7 years in Marketing Operations, Lead Operations, RevOps, or Marketing Technology.

  • Deep, hands-on expertise with at least one major marketing automation platform (e.g., Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot)

  • Strong, hands-on Salesforce experience, particularly around lead/contact and campaign objects.

  • Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI agents or automations, ideally using Claude Code, Cowork, or a comparable agentic coding tool โ€” with real, shipped examples.

  • Prior experience partnering directly with Campaign/CMM, Integrated Marketing, or Social teams.

You might also have

  • Familiarity with LeanData, Qualified, MadKudu, Profound, ZoomInfo, or Clay.

  • Solid understanding of lead lifecycle management: scoring, routing, SLAs, and data quality/enrichment.

  • Experience operating in a build-fast, iterate-with-stakeholders mode rather than a strictly ticket-based IT model.
