Job description

What is Virtuox
Virtuox is an Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility (IDTF) and a ResMed company. We test patients for sleep apnea, cardiac arrhythmia, and hypoxemia, all from the comfort of their home. A physician orders a test, we ship a device directly to the patient, they complete the study, we interpret the results, and the report goes back to the ordering provider so they can act.
It sounds simple. The operational and clinical complexity behind it is not.
We run this across multiple test types, each with its own workflow, device, clinical protocol, and regulatory requirements, and we're building the technology to make it all faster, more automated, and more scalable.
JOB SUMMARY
The Territory Manager (TM) is responsible for managing and growing an assigned sales territory for Virtuox, a Resmed company and national leader in home diagnostic testing services. The TM serves as the primary field representative to physicians, healthcare providers, hospitals, health systems, and strategic channel partners, acting as both a trusted clinical resource and ambassador for the company. The TM is responsible for driving growth across Virtuox's diagnostic service lines, including Home Sleep Testing (HST), Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring (ACM), Overnight Pulse Oximetry (POX), and related diagnostic solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting, developing new business, expanding existing accounts, educating providers on clinical and operational workflows, and supporting implementation and ongoing account success. The TM is expected to develop strong relationships within assigned territories, maintain a high level of clinical and operational knowledge, and execute territory growth strategies aligned with company goals. The role requires consistent activity tracking, opportunity management, and collaboration with internal operational, clinical, and sales support teams.
The ideal candidate for this role would be located within a reasonable distance of Laredo, Texas or remote anywhere in Laredo, Texas. The expectation will be for this individual to cover all of Laredo, Texas region.

  • Achieve revenue goals for service sales and all assigned product lines
  • In-service and educate new and existing accounts
  • Manage all aspects of the assigned territory while meeting or exceeding performance goals
  • Provide daily updates on sales activity, competition, and business opportunities
  • Accurately maintain CRM activity and submit required paperwork in a timely manner
  • Submit monthly expense reports and manage expenses within the approved budget
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to generate new business and expand existing accounts
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all company product lines
  • Communicate effectively with Customer Experience and internal teams regarding customer needs
  • Complete issue resolution documentation in accordance with company policies
  • Report to management as directed, providing performance insights and territory assessments

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, Marketing, or a related field
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of medical sales experience preferred (Healthcare, Medical, Pharmaceutical is a plus)
  • 4+ years of total sales experience with demonstrated success
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
