Zantech is looking for a talented Project Manager to contribute to the success of our upcoming Operations and Administrative Support Services project for a Hybrid role based out of Mobile, AL.

The Project Manager serves as the single point of contact between the Contractor and the Contracting Officer (KO) and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for all work performed. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management, coordination, and quality of all contractor-provided personnel and deliverables in support of the USCG OPC Project Resident Office (PRO).

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

  • Provide all activities related to the administration of computerized databases
  • Serve as the sole point of contact for the Contracting Officer and COR on all matters related to contractor performance under this task order.
  • Maintain availability to the COR via telephone between 0900 and 1700 CST, Monday through Friday, and respond to requests for discussion or resolution of technical problems within 24 hours of notification.
  • Retrieve weekly performance assessments from each employee and use them to support monthly invoice validation and documentation.
  • Review and sign off on employee timesheets/timecards, which must be co-signed by the COR or ACOR at the end of each week.
  • Notify the Contracting Officer and COR no less than 15 business days in advance before replacing any individual, including written justification, name, qualifications, and resume of proposed substitute.
  • Ensure that all contract support personnel are present and working the required hours; provide written notification to the COR prior to any employee absence where no replacement is provided.
  • Ensure contractor employees present a professional appearance, comply with all applicable Government regulations, and understand and abide by DHS rules, regulations, and security policies.
  • Present deliverables, discuss progress, exchange information, and resolve emergent technical problems in monthly status meetings with the COR.
  • Submit a monthly status report to the KO and COR summarizing all work performed, deliverables completed and planned, schedule status, and any concerns or recommendations, due no later than the 10th business day of each month.
  • Attend the Post Award Conference within 10 business days of contract award and deliver a draft Project Plan at that time.
  • Provide a final Project Plan to the COR no later than 10 business days after the Post Award Conference.
  • Develop and submit a Transition-Out Plan 90 days prior to task order expiration.
  • Ensure all individually terminated contractor staff are properly cleared through the COR and security, and that identification badges, CAC cards, and GFE are returned.

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a project management role.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience relevant to the program (program management, administrative support services, or shipbuilding support).
  • Knowledge of ship construction and government contracting environments.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and MS Outlook.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
  • Must be available Monday through Friday, 09001700 CST.

Required Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Required Security Clearance:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
