• Conduct detailed mental health assessments, taking into account how various medical conditions influence patients' mental well-being.
• Develop personalized and integrated treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical needs, ensuring a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies tailored to each patient’s unique challenges.
• Engage with medical providers through regular communication to guarantee coordinated care and optimal treatment outcomes.
• Perform crisis intervention and offer immediate support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating quick decision-making skills.
• Educate patients on the interconnection between mental health and physical health, empowering them to actively participate in their own treatment and recovery.
• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with both legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning to continuously improve patient care strategies.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in integrated care, contributing to the ongoing development of treatment protocols.

You will primarily be working with individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and medical conditions, such as chronic pain syndromes, autoimmune disorders, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will facilitate a compassionate approach to their treatment, helping patients navigate the complex interplay between their physical and mental health.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Georgia.
• Deep understanding and experience in addressing the mental health needs of patients with medical complexities.
• Proven history of delivering integrated care in collaboration with medical teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating positive relationships with clients and coworkers.
• Ability to uphold professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing daily operations and patient documentation.
• Strong collaborative skills, enabling effective teamwork in an interdisciplinary setting.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health counseling, preferably in an integrated care environment.
• Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations, including individuals with chronic medical conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The salary for this position ranges between USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
