Position description
As a Finance Operations Associate, your primary focus is to oversee all financial activities related to clients, such as invoicing, bill payments, escrow management, and financial audits for client "journeys." Additionally, this position will support Accounts Payable for ConceiveAbilities and contribute to various financial reporting tasks.
Position responsibilities
  • Structure work in support of client-facing processes, building and maintaining measurable tasks, checklists and KPIs
  • Liaise with ConceiveAbilities clients and vendors to actively manage and complete financial tasks and requests related to business operations
  • Issue precise client invoices, handle bills, and process payments aligned with customer journeys
  • Regularly audit client escrow accounts
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Legal, Operations) to prioritize tasks and resolve customer-facing issues promptly, delivering exceptional client service at all times
  • Assist, as necessary, with month- and year-end close, annual audit support
  • Provide ad-hoc analytical support to assist management with company-wide initiatives and strategies
  • Cross-train with other financial team members

Experience and skills
  • Requires EITHER a BA/BS degree preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business OR
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant finance work experience in place of a BA/BS degree
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong Excel skills; familiarity with QuickBooks Online, Salesforce, and Bill.com is a plus
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills in problem-solving
