Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for clients seeking mental health services, ensuring that each individual receives a personalized and comprehensive treatment plan tailored to their unique needs.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions through virtual platforms, adopting adaptable therapeutic methodologies suited for online settings.
• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care strategies, ensuring that treatment approaches are grounded in research and best practices.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, including direct immediate support and referrals to appropriate community resources and services.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, case managers, and social workers—to enhance client care and share insights from different professional perspectives.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Engage in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with clinical practices, and participate in case consultations to enhance team knowledge and approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face varying levels of psychological distress. You will work with adults, adolescents, and families, addressing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship struggles. Understanding the unique needs of each client will be essential in your approach to therapy, fostering a trusting environment where healing can flourish.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active LMHC license in the state of Tennessee, held in good standing.
• A Bachelor's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in outpatient or mental health settings is necessary to ensure you are equipped to handle the demands of the role.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a commitment to ongoing learning is essential.

Preferred Experience
