• Conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate the needs and progress of patients in a clinical setting.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members about patient progress through detailed reports and care updates.
• Develop and maintain an organized schedule of appointments, home visits, and necessary observations to track patient advancement effectively.
• Coordinate in-home visits as required to perform monitoring through observations, chart reviews, and interviews with collateral contacts.
• Ensure the effective implementation of tailored treatment plans, evaluating their efficacy and making necessary adjustments.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and relevant discussions to enhance therapeutic strategies and patient care.
• Execute detailed documentation including monthly and quarterly progress notes that capture the status and direction of patient treatments.
• Organize training sessions and materials to staff, ensuring all members are proficient in program execution and documentation practices.
• Offer follow-up support through additional interviews and home visits, ensuring continuity of care and encouragement of patient progress.
• Serve as a key liaison with the broader mental health community, aiding in the development and coordination of community resources.

The LCPC role at Jewish Family Care Therapy involves working with a diverse range of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. You will specialize in addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Your ability to establish rapport and trust with a variety of clients will be crucial in guiding them toward therapeutic success.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• A current and active license as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in counseling, ideally in a clinical context, enabling effective therapeutic delivery.
• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse will enhance your candidacy considerably.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to mental health practice is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal communication allows for effective rapport-building with clients and team members alike.

• The annual salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $100,000, contingent upon your qualifications and caseload.
