Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial client interviews and comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide ongoing evaluations by synthesizing bio-psychosocial information from clients, their families, and relevant referral sources to adapt treatment strategies effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in chemical dependency treatment practices and incorporate evidence-based methodologies into client care.
- Engage in regular team meetings to collaborate on client cases, share insights, and participate in continuous professional development.
- Document all interactions and treatment processes in compliance with state regulations and organizational protocols, ensuring meticulous record-keeping that respects client confidentiality.
You will be working primarily with adults who struggle with various forms of chemical dependency. Understanding the complexities of addiction—impacting not just the individual but their families—is crucial to this role. You will provide empathetic support and guidance tailored to the unique challenges each client faces, fostering resilience as they navigate their recovery journey.
Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Social Services, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A valid Washington State licensure as a mental health professional (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT).
- Two years of experience providing therapy in a mental health or addiction treatment setting.
- In-depth knowledge of drug treatment facilities and various treatment modalities.
- Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective client interaction.
- A commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding all client communications and records.
- Experience working remotely within a telehealth model, including proficiency in various digital tools and platforms used for online therapy.
- Background in providing support to diverse populations, including varied cultural, socioeconomic, and age demographics.
- Familiarity with multi-disciplinary approaches, working alongside psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals in integrated care settings.
