As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough intake sessions and needs assessments for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing interviews, observations, and psychological testing.
• Collaborating with clients to develop, implement, and assess customized therapeutic treatment plans based on their specific needs and treatment goals.
• Maintaining accurate and complete patient documentation in accordance with facility standards and licensing requirements.
• Engaging actively in weekly clinical team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies.
• Providing crisis intervention and emergency counseling when necessary, and performing outreach services in community settings such as schools or at-home visits.
• Facilitating specialized group therapy sessions covering various topics such as grief, anger management, depression, and parenting skills, structured within your area of expertise.

Your clientele will range from individuals affected by cognitive, affective, or behavioral disorders to couples and families looking to improve their relational dynamics. Your work directly impacts the lives of those experiencing challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment to major life changes. By fostering a supportive therapeutic environment, you help clients navigate their problems and steer towards healthier emotional states.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
• A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related behavioral science field.
• CPR Certification and competence in various therapeutic modalities.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and record-keeping.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

We prefer candidates with at least two years of post-licensure clinical experience, especially those who have worked in medical social work settings. Experience with community outreach or crisis intervention will be highly beneficial. Familiarity with specific treatment modalities will enhance your ability to meet patient needs.
