This role is designed for a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor and allows for a completely remote work setting. • Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews and document client cases from the initial consultation through to the completion of treatment.
• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health through evidence-based assessments and observations.
• Develop personalized intervention and recovery plans based on individual, couple, family, and group needs, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that encourage open communication and personal exploration.
• Monitor and assess clients' progress continuously throughout the treatment plan, making necessary adjustments to ensure effective outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, and social workers to develop comprehensive intervention strategies.
• Maintain open lines of communication for follow-up care with any clients admitted to hospital settings, coordinating with relevant medical staff.
• Identify and proactively address behavioral patterns that may hinder recovery, guiding clients toward healthier coping mechanisms.
• Empower family members and primary caregivers by providing strategies and insights to manage mental health challenges effectively.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Silver Linings, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families facing various mental health issues. Your role will be critical in addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties, ensuring that all clients feel heard, supported, and valued.

• Education: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensure: Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• Certifications: Successful completion of necessary examinations such as the NCE or the NCMHCE.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective client interaction and documentation.
• Interpersonal Attributes: A compassionate demeanor paired with exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of trust and rapport with clients.

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, particularly within community health settings, is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies that align with best practices.
• Experience working with clients managing co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction issues, will be advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, accompanied by a sign-on bonus for exceptional candidates.
