• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand the unique needs of your patients and develop personalized treatment plans that align with best practices and ethical standards.
• Maintain open lines of communication with supervisors, healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to keep them informed about client progress and treatment modifications.
• Prepare and share a tentative schedule of appointments, home visits, and observations to ensure consistent monitoring of client well-being and program adherence.
• Organize home visits, collecting data through interviews and analysis that contribute to comprehensive care assessments.
• Lead interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in ongoing discussions to facilitate collaborative approaches to patient care.
• Document progress through detailed monthly and quarterly notes, highlighting patient development and areas for intervention.
• Design and oversee training for fellow staff members to ensure they understand the implementation of treatment plans and associated documentation.
• Provide follow-up care, including interviews and home visits, to ensure that each client receives the support they need for continued growth and healing.
• Serve as a liaison between the clinic and the community, enhancing mental health awareness and developing strategic relationships with public and private organizations.
• Contribute to the enhancement of treatment programs by developing new protocols and training materials that bolster staff competency.

This role will involve working with a broad range of clients, including both adults and youth, with varying backgrounds and mental health challenges. You will have the honor of supporting individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relational difficulties. Your expertise will enable you to guide them through effective interventions tailored to their specific experiences and goals.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct counseling experience in a clinical or comparable setting, demonstrating your proficiency in therapeutic techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma-informed care, or substance use is highly desirable.
• A solid understanding of ethical practice and legal parameters in mental health counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies to enhance the efficiency and efficacy of client management.

• Experience in integrating various therapeutic modalities and approaches tailored to the needs of specific patient populations.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or public awareness initiatives related to mental health.
• Skills in crisis intervention and familiarization with handling emergency mental health situations.
