As a Remote Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your primary duties will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and developing tailored, person-centered treatment plans.
• Providing ethical, compassionate, and effective counseling services through secure video chat, adhering to best practices in teletherapy.
• Regularly monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to meet evolving needs.
• Facilitating skill-building sessions with clients to enhance coping strategies, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.
• Collaborating with educators and family members when appropriate to ensure holistic support for clients.
• Utilizing our user-friendly counselor portal for scheduling, client management, and minimal paperwork to maximize time spent with clients.

This role primarily focuses on providing care for stable, low-acuity adults in a school-related setting. You will develop therapeutic relationships with diverse clients who may be experiencing life transitions, stress management difficulties, or mild depressive/anxiety symptoms. Your expertise will guide clients in discovering practical strategies to improve their emotional well-being, ultimately contributing to their success within the educational environment.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• Independently licensed to practice without supervision, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding toward clients' needs.
• Proficiency in using technology, including a stable internet connection and familiarity with online therapy platforms.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Previous work experience in a school or educational setting.
• Experience providing telehealth services and familiarity with remote counseling tools.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with educational staff and other health care providers.
