About the role
The Strategic Account Manager plays a critical role in the continued growth of BigHand.
You will be responsible for driving new revenue opportunities across both existing and new-logo clients, leveraging the full breadth of the BigHand product portfolio within your assigned territory.
What you'll do
  • Lead commercial strategy for all clients within your territory at BigHand.
  • Build strong, inclusive relationships across the industry with key personas including the C-suite.
  • Research and qualify new business opportunities in accordance with approved sales management guidelines.
  • Learn and understand the value proposition of BigHand software solutions and effectively.
  • Communicate this understanding to existing and prospective customers.
  • Update client and prospect information in our CRM system.
  • Build profiles of prospective clients using publicly available information.
  • Track, qualify and route leads sent from all sources including but not limited to direct mail campaigns, inbound and outbound calling, marketing, new sales group, special events, trade shows, and company websites.
  • Work effectively with and assist others in a team environment.
  • Be curious, and acquire and leverage investigation or probing skills to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Travel for business 25% for high-level meetings, conferences, and events.
What we're looking for
  • Proven track record of winning business in the Legal industry or SAAS based businesses selling financial software.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic and growth-oriented environment with a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with confidence communicating with a range of people.
  • Ability to work both independently and assist others in a team environment
  • Strong curiosity and interest in learning with proven investigation and questioning and discovery skills to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Willingness to leverage LinkedIn, AI and other social channels to drive engagement and build relationships
