• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately identify individual client needs and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Implement personalized therapy strategies that may include cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and psychoeducation, tailored to each client’s unique circumstances.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, utilizing active listening and empathy to foster a welcoming environment that encourages client openness.
• Develop and guide clients in practicing coping skills and strategies for managing symptoms related to emotional and mental health conditions.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure seamless referrals and comprehensive care when additional resources are required.

You will work with a diverse population of clients, including adults struggling with anxiety, depression, stress management, substance use issues, and trauma-related challenges. • A Master’s degree in a mental health discipline (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling).
• Valid licensure in California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• At least two years of professional counseling experience, demonstrating a strong ability to engage with clients and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with evidence-based practices in counseling.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations with empathy and professionalism.

• Experience with a variety of therapeutic modalities and an interest in ongoing professional development in mental health.
• Exposure to working in telehealth or virtual therapy settings, showcasing effective communication skills in a digital format.

The Online Counselor, Ltd offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience. Our robust benefits program includes:
