What is the typical work schedule and living arrangement for employees on remote oil rigs?

Most remote oil rig roles operate on a rotational schedule, such as two weeks on followed by two weeks off, allowing for extended time at home between shifts. While onsite, employees usually live in shared accommodations provided by the company, with access to meals, recreation facilities, and communication tools to stay in touch with family. The facilities are designed to offer comfort and safety while meeting the unique demands of working in remote locations.
