This role will be based in a climate-controlled remote office, with daily interactions within a collaborative healthcare environment. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will take on various essential duties, including:

• Conducting thorough assessments and diagnostics when necessary to evaluate clients' mental health status and treatment effectiveness, employing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
• Developing individualized treatment plans that integrate culturally sensitive approaches and accommodate the unique needs of our diverse patient population.
• Providing ongoing evaluations of patient progress and adjusting interventions to align with best practices in mental health care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely treatment records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and departmental policies.
• Collaborating closely with patients and their families to formulate comprehensive care plans, factoring in safety and symptom management.
• Coordinating with external healthcare providers and referral agencies, fostering strong relationships that benefit patient care.
• Offering mentorship and guidance for students, interns, and other professionals as part of our commitment to community development and training within the mental health field.

Your primary focus will be on working with individuals and families affected by cancer, a population that experiences unique mental health challenges. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
