Silver Lake Behavioral Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote outpatient team. In this full-time role, you will provide essential therapeutic services to a diverse client base, helping individuals and families navigate their mental health challenges through personalized treatment plans and evidence-based therapeutic practices.

This position is structured as a remote role, providing flexibility while enabling you to connect meaningfully with clients. You will have access to various online tools and resources designed to facilitate effective therapy sessions. Despite being remote, you will be an integral part of our outpatient office’s team, participating in regular virtual meetings and training sessions to enhance our service delivery.

• Conducting thorough client assessments to identify mental health concerns, gathering comprehensive histories to formulate clinical diagnoses.
• Creating individualized treatment plans based on assessments, clinical best practices, and client goals, ensuring tailored therapy solutions.
• Providing individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Delivering crisis intervention services when clients are in acute distress, offering immediate support and action plans to help stabilize their conditions.
• Documenting all client interactions accurately, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaborating with a diverse interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses to develop comprehensive care plans for clients.
• Offering psychoeducation to clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatments, and local resources to empower informed decision-making.
• Engaging in continuous professional development to remain updated on the latest therapeutic practices, attending workshops, and pursuing additional certifications as appropriate.

Your work will primarily focus on diverse populations in the San Bernardino area, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. You will work collaboratively with clients of all ages, providing intervention strategies that foster resilience and emotional wellness. The center’s commitment to inclusivity and sensitivity ensures that therapy is culturally appropriate and effective for every client.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or counseling setting.
• Strong competency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation purposes.
• An ability to work independently while also being an effective team player, contributing positively to team objectives.
• A commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

• Previous experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, facilitating an understanding of remote therapy delivery.
• Prior experience in a multidisciplinary team environment is advantageous, allowing for effective collaboration and comprehensive client support.
• Knowledge of community resources in the San Bernardino area that may benefit clients seeking additional support.

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 85,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
