Solace Sanctuary Counseling is seeking a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This full-time position offers a salary range of USD 70,000 to 80,000 annually based on experience and qualifications. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' mental health needs and create tailored treatment plans, ensuring a client-centered approach to care.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services including individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy, utilizing a variety of methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care.
• Work collaboratively with other professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure holistic and coordinated care for all clients.
• Provide crisis intervention support for clients experiencing acute distress, effectively managing emergency situations with compassion and expertise.
• Engage in community outreach projects, presenting workshops and educational initiatives aimed at increasing mental health awareness and reducing stigma.

Our clients are individuals from various cultural and social backgrounds, many of whom face significant barriers to accessing mental health services. You will have the opportunity to work with adolescents, adults, and families as you provide support and guidance to those navigating issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate the building of therapeutic relationships and rapport with clients.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity are essential for effective work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and lifestyles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to maintain detailed and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.

• Previous experience in a community health setting or with a focus on underserved populations is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of local resources and community services in Rochester, NY, that can support clients’ broad spectrum of needs.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and willingness to adopt innovative strategies to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
