• Conduct thorough mental health assessments using a variety of standardized tools and techniques to gather insightful data that informs treatment planning.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based methods, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups designed to empower patients, address mental health challenges, and foster a sense of community.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated care that encompasses all aspects of a patient’s mental health and wellbeing.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services in response to urgent mental health needs, ensuring patients receive timely support during critical moments.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, promoting informed decision-making.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance within electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage actively in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing professional development initiatives to enhance personal growth and contribute to the shared knowledge of the team.
• Stay informed about the evolving landscape of mental health research and integrate best practices into clinical work.

Our therapists work with a diverse patient population, including individuals, couples, and families seeking support in managing a wide range of mental health issues. By utilizing telehealth, we aim to increase accessibility to quality mental health services for vulnerable communities across Nevada, ensuring that individuals from rural and urban backgrounds alike can receive the support they need.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada, ensuring compliance with state regulatory standards.
• Profound understanding of mental health disorders and a variety of therapeutic approaches, enabling effective treatment delivery.
• Proven ability to perform comprehensive assessments and create impactful treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy to a diverse range of populations, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate trust and rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain professional boundaries in a remote work environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and technological platforms for delivering telehealth services.

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, we prefer candidates who have a background in telehealth and familiarity with the challenges and opportunities it presents. Experience in crisis management and trauma-informed care will also be advantageous, positioning you to effectively support our clients in their healing journeys.

Joyful Journeys offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
