Higher Ground Counseling Solutions is seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in providing vital mental health services to individuals. This full-time remote position invites professionals with an active license in LPC, LCSW, or LMFT to engage in evidence-based therapeutic practices and make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients. The expected work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, utilizing standardized tools and observational techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Deliver targeted therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, or mindfulness techniques, ensuring cultural competency and sensitivity.
• Document all client interactions in a clear, organized manner using our electronic medical record system, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress, treatment strategies, and provide peer support, promoting a collaborative team atmosphere.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with the latest research and methodologies in mental health care.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Higher Ground Counseling Solutions, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds and age groups, emphasizing the importance of understanding their individual circumstances and fostering a non-judgmental space for healing.

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years' experience providing therapy in a clinical or community-based setting.
• Exceptional communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport and trust quickly with clients.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems and telehealth technology is highly beneficial.

Experience working with diverse populations, including those from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, is preferred. Additionally, knowledge of specific therapeutic modalities, such as trauma-informed care or play therapy, can enhance your effectiveness in this role.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a strong salary, our benefits package includes:
