Position Summary
CREOKS Health Services is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead and unify nursing operations across our outpatient and Crisis Stabilization/Urgent Recovery programs statewide. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the Director of Nursing holds organization-wide responsibility for nursing across all CREOKS locations in Oklahoma, including CCBHC, non-CCBHC clinics, primary care and our Crisis Stabilization (CSU) and Urgent Recovery (URC) settings.
Working in close collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer, the Director of Nursing streamlines clinic operations for efficiency and performance, develops and implements nursing policy, ensures regulatory compliance, and builds the strategy, education, and infrastructure needed as new facilities open or are brought under CREOKS. This is a high-impact leadership role for a nurse leader who is well versed in organizational nursing operations, compliance, recruitment of skilled nurses, training and education.
Work Setting & Conditions:
- This is a hybrid position combining in-person and virtual work.
- Intermittent statewide travel to CREOKS sites is required as needed to support operations, openings, and staff.
- Full-time, salaried (exempt) position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Chief Medical Officer to streamline clinic workflows and improve operational efficiency and clinical performance across all sites.
- Develop and implement organization-wide nursing strategy, ensuring consistent standards of practice across outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Lead the nursing components of new facility openings, expansions, and program transitions, including operational strategy, recruitment, staffing, and education.
- Write, revise, and implement nursing policies and procedures across CCBHC, non-CCBHC, CSU, and URC programs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations, CCBHC criteria, and accreditation and licensing requirements.
- Monitor nursing practice for quality, safety, and regulatory adherence, and lead corrective and continuous-improvement efforts as needed.
- Oversee all outpatient nursing staff, including Medical Assistants (MA), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), and Registered Nurses (RN).
- Coordinate with site directors to address medical needs and provide nursing guidance across locations.
- Supervise the nursing managers of the CSU and URC programs, overseeing their function, policy implementation, and day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with CSU/URC site directors, medical director and staff as needed to communicate, implement and educate on necessary nursing guidance
- Lead nursing recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and performance management, and build a strong pipeline of nursing talent.
- Develop and deliver nursing education, competency, and training programs across the organization.
- Promote professional growth and standardized clinical competency among nursing staff at all levels.

Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma; BSN required, MSN or related advanced degree required or commiserate experience.
- Demonstrated experience in large organizational nursing management, ideally within a hospital or large multi-site clinic operation.
- Strong background in nursing operations, regulatory compliance, and training and education.
- Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and clinical standards across multiple sites or programs.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage and develop nursing staff and managers across diverse settings.
- Behavioral health, crisis, or CCBHC experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside physician and administrative leadership.
