This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while engaging directly with students and staff in a school setting. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ mental health needs and create personalized treatment plans addressing trauma, anxiety, and depression.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, such as individual and group therapy sessions, to promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team, including teachers, nurses, and psychologists, to provide holistic care.
• Participate in regular case reviews, ensuring the latest evidence-based practices are utilized to enhance treatment effectiveness.

You will work with a wide range of students, from those facing mild challenges to those with more severe emotional and behavioral issues. Your expertise will aid in identifying warning signs, assessing risk factors, and developing strategies for crisis intervention, ultimately aiming to enhance their academic and social performance.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• An active LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license in New Jersey is mandatory for this position.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills that foster teamwork and collaboration.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.
• Experience in school-based social work or familiarity with educational systems is highly desirable.
