The LCSW position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring high-quality support for students. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments including interviews and medical history reviews to identify emotional and social factors impacting students' academic success and overall well-being.
• Provide individual and family counseling sessions, focusing on issues related to adjustment, grief, coping strategies, and mental health challenges.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, school nurses, and other health professionals, to develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address the individual psychosocial needs of each student.
• Educate students and families about available community resources such as support groups, vocational training services, and additional post-rehabilitation resources.
• Facilitate discharge planning and support transitions to alternative care settings when necessary, ensuring continuity and cohesiveness in care.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaborative feedback.

In this role, the primary focus will be on the school-age population. You will be working with children and adolescents who may be dealing with various mental health issues, emotional disturbances, or situational crises. This includes supporting students with experiences of trauma, learning disabilities, behavioral issues, or social integration challenges. Your contributions will play a vital role in their educational success and emotional stability.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York is mandatory.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health frameworks, coping strategies, and adjustment issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for providing effective counseling and documentation.

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or school-based setting will be highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with children and adolescents, understanding the unique dynamics of school environments.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and credentials. Additionally, we offer a sign-on bonus to new team members.
