Summary
You will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Logistics Integrated Product Support Team of MARCORSYSCOM.

  • You will provide senior logistics leadership by developing, implementing, and managing strategic life-cycle logistics plans that support acquisition programs and organizational objec
  • You will serve as a key advisor to Program Management Teams and Integrated Product Teams, guiding program officials on logistics, engineering, contracting, financial management, and enterprise-level strategic planning.
  • You will oversee risk management efforts, identify corrective actions, and develop solutions for major program challenges, enhancements, and new initiatives.
  • You will develop and ensure acquisition strategies incorporate all product life-cycle requirements, including logistics support, regulatory compliance, requirements determination, evaluations, and product improvement.
  • You will lead workforce competency development by establishing standards, promoting training and professional development, conducting logistics assessments, and providing guidance to leadership and program teams.

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing strategic leadership and direction for logistic operations, influencing senior program stakeholders, and integrating life-cycle logistics requirements across complex acquisition programs. Utilizing expert knowledge of product support, risk management, acquisition planning, and workforce leadership while exercising independent judgment to guide program decisions and organizational strategy.
