• Conduct thorough assessments and clinical evaluations, utilizing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and cultural backgrounds.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support strategies to assist patients in managing their mental health challenges, continually evaluating their progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while utilizing the latest healthcare technologies for documentation.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to create comprehensive treatment plans that align with the patients' goals and desired outcomes.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and families about mental health resources, coping strategies, and symptom management to enhance their understanding and engagement in the therapeutic process.
• Act as a liaison between patients and community resources, coordinating referrals and ensuring effective communication with other treatment providers.
• Mentor and educate students, interns, and new clinical staff, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and professional development.

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals and families navigating the complex emotional landscape of cancer diagnoses. This role demands sensitivity, empathy, and an understanding of the unique psychological challenges faced by patients and their loved ones. You will provide a safe, supportive space for clients to explore their feelings and develop coping strategies, thereby enhancing their quality of life during challenging times.

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
• Proven experience in providing therapeutic services to individuals dealing with chronic illnesses, especially within mental health settings.

• Prior experience in working with oncology patients, understanding the emotional and psychological ramifications of a cancer diagnosis.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapy modalities and community resources available for cancer patients.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
