Positive Progression Psychology is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of those we serve, focusing on providing essential mental health services within a Detox Center setting. As an LCSW, you will play a critical role in assessing and addressing the psychological and social needs of our clients while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

This position is entirely remote, yet members of our team frequently engage in collaborative efforts that include virtual team meetings and community outreach activities. While the majority of your work will occur from home, you will have opportunities to interact directly with clients and coordinate with local service providers to ensure comprehensive care. The remote setting encourages flexibility, allowing for a supportive work-life balance while still being immersed in meaningful work.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs, utilizing established screening tools and assessment methodologies.
• Provide tailored therapeutic interventions and support, focusing on both individual and group counseling sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans that address clients' goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and holistic approaches.
• Advocate for clients by ensuring they have access to necessary resources, such as healthcare, housing, and employment support.
• Participate in program development by contributing insights based on client feedback and outcomes, while assisting in grant preparation and reporting processes.
• Collaborate actively with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies to enhance the service continuum for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training opportunities, remaining abreast of best practices in social work and contributions to the community.

The individuals and families you will support may face a diverse array of challenges including substance use disorders, mental health crises, homelessness, and various socio-economic issues. By utilizing a trauma-informed care approach, you will empower clients to navigate their unique circumstances, ensuring they receive compassionate and effective support tailored to their individual journeys toward recovery.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited educational institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Possession of strong communication skills, underscored by empathy and a commitment to client-centered care.
• A deep understanding of various community resources, social justice frameworks, and advocacy techniques.
• Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and other digital communication tools to facilitate remote counseling sessions and team collaborations.

• A minimum of one year of prior experience in a nonprofit organization or a similar healthcare setting is desirable.
• Experience in delivering services within substance use recovery, crisis intervention, or community support programs is a plus.
• Familiarity with grant writing, program development, and evaluation processes would greatly enhance your application.
