Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health to identify their unique needs and potential treatment paths.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, adapting therapeutic modalities to address the specific challenges faced by each client.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness techniques to promote healing and personal growth.
• Collaborate with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals and regularly assess their progress to adjust the treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, underscoring our commitment to integrity and professionalism.
• Engage in regular professional development activities, such as workshops and training, to continually enhance therapeutic expertise and stay current with best practices in mental health care.

As a licensed therapist at Premise Counseling, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Qualifications

• A current, valid license in the state of Florida as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or PsyD (Doctor of Psychology).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship that promotes openness and growth.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences.
• Strong organizational skills and adept time-management abilities, essential for effective coordination of caseload and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in therapeutic settings with various treatment modalities, especially with children, adolescents, or families.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the nuances of providing remote therapy.
• A track record of successful collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
