• Conduct thorough mental health assessments by performing psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand the individual needs of students.
• Work collaboratively with students to formulate individualized treatment plans that not only address their immediate mental health concerns but also consider their cultural and personal backgrounds.
• Implement a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) across various formats such as individual, couple, family, and group sessions.
• Provide critical crisis intervention services while coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continued care for students experiencing acute distress.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, adhering to clinic policies and compliance regulations to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Empower students and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with practical skills to manage their mental health conditions and enhance their coping strategies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to synchronize comprehensive care delivery to students.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes to evaluate effectiveness, making adjustments to treatment plans as required to enhance student welfare.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and evolving trends in the mental health field, integrating this knowledge into your clinical practices to continually improve care.
• Always adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain confidentiality in handling patient information.

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, assisting them with mental health challenges that may interfere with their academic performance and overall quality of life. Understanding the unique pressures faced by students in Los Angeles, you will collaborate closely with families and educators to create a supportive network around these young individuals.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required for this position.
• Applicants must possess an active State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work autonomously while also effectively collaborating with a diverse multidisciplinary team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, with a particular emphasis on establishing rapport with individuals from varied cultural backgrounds.

• Experience in school settings or with youth mental health is highly desirable.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 84,000, commensurate with experience, education, and skill level. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
