Key Responsibilities

• Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions for individuals and groups using our sophisticated telehealth platform.
• Perform thorough assessments to identify clients' emotional, social, and mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique circumstances.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients when needed, facilitating their safety and emotional security.
• Guide clients in accessing community resources and social services that enhance their holistic well-being, including integrating with hospice services when applicable.
• Maintain meticulous electronic client records, ensuring all documentation meets industry standards for confidentiality and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nurses, doctors, and other social workers, to deliver coordinated care and optimize client outcomes.
• Educate clients on coping strategies, effective communication techniques, and self-care practices to support their ongoing mental health management.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of best practices in clinical social work and teletherapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population includes individuals experiencing a range of emotional and psychological challenges, particularly those in hospice settings who may require specialized support as they navigate complex feelings about end-of-life issues. You will work closely with clients who may be facing grief, anxiety, or depression, guiding them to find peace and acceptance through focused therapy.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related discipline is required.
• Strong proficiency in telehealth technologies and platforms.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills tailored for remote therapy interactions.
• A commitment to adhere to ethical practices in clinical settings and maintain client confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment, managing your time effectively.
• Willingness to accommodate clients across different time zones with flexible scheduling.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a clinical social work role, with emphasis on teletherapy.
• Experience working with hospice care clients or in palliative settings is a significant advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
