Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patient needs and establish therapeutic goals.
• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices, ensuring that interventions are tailored to the unique situations of each patient.
• Administer effective therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and update patient records in a timely manner, adhering to state regulations and organizational standards.
• Engage in regular team meetings to collaborate and coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other mental health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide educational resources and supportive counseling to patients and their families, empowering them through the recovery process.
• Stay informed of evolving mental health best practices and integrate relevant findings into daily practice to improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily caters to individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. You will engage with a diverse patient demographic, including various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and treatment histories, all of whom require empathetic understanding and tailored support to regain mental stability and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current LCSW or LSCSW license in the state of Kansas.
• In-depth knowledge of solution-based therapeutic methodologies and evidence-based practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, fostering a therapeutic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience providing direct clinical services, particularly in mental health or addiction treatment settings.
• Familiarity with detox processes and recovery programs is advantageous.
• Experience using telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
