Job Title: IT Product Specialist - Broadcom Operations Insight (OI) Integrations
Location: Remote or Fairfield, CA
Job Type: Temporary (Contract)

Location: remote but the team is in Fairfield, CA so they need to support PST work hrs
6-12 months project

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: personal or vendor provided device. VDI or Citrix will be provided by the client.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own integrations into Broadcom Operations Intelligence / Observability (OI) including events, metrics, topology, alarms, and enrichment data.
  • Build and optimize ingestion pipelines across REST APIs, webhooks, connectors, and custom integration scripts.
  • Develop advanced dashboards, service models, correlation rules, and analytic views within Broadcom OI.
  • Implement data normalization, enrichment, and harmonization to ensure consistent event quality and actionable insights.
  • Lead the full SDLC for all OI-related enhancements:
  • requirements → design → development → testing → deployment → support.
  • Engineer automation workflows to reduce manual effort and improve signal quality.
  • Collaborate with SMEs from server, network, cloud, NOC, app teams, and automation teams to onboard new services into OI.
  • Manage discovery, onboarding, and metadata alignment across observability tools feeding OI.
  • Administer Linux (RHEL) environments and support containerized deployments (Docker / Kubernetes).
  • Produce high-quality documentation, integration diagrams, and operational runbooks.
Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years in enterprise IT operations, monitoring, NOC, or observability engineering.
  • Direct experience with Broadcom Operations Insight (event ingestion, dashboards, data models, connectors, analytics).
  • Strong background integrating monitoring tools into a central observability/AIOps platform.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and data transformation workflows.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or PERL) for automation and integration tasks.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure (Windows/Linux/Unix), network concepts, and service topologies.
  • Experience working in container-based environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Qualifications
  • Experience with complementary tools integrated into OI, such as:
  • Broadcom DX NetOps, Spectrum, UIM, APM
  • Grafana
  • Oracle Enterprise Manager
  • Dynatrace
  • PagerDuty
  • Familiarity with Postman for API testing.
  • Experience with ITSM/ticketing systems such as BMC Remedy and ServiceNow.
  • Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps methodologies, and automated deployment patterns.
